SEEDLINGS
Yes, that time of year has come again.

My husband Mike and I headed home from a cold week in Florida to a balmy week in Pennsylania.  The second or third week in February is what is traditionally known as the "onion thaw" a time when you could theoretically plant the first onions of the year.  Instead of field planting I usually go for the more reliable indoor planting.  With our greenhouse still under construction, I have temporarily transformed my attic into my greenhouse.  Pictured above are leeks, onions, pansies, parsley and celery root.
We are still accepting applications for our CSA.  Unfortunately, the website is still not up to date.  We still have a few details to figure out but, Jen Lindsay has done a stunning job with the new website and brochures.  I am very thankful for her.
Also, stay tuned for several workshops coming up in the spring on small scale planting and nutrition.  This year is shaping up to be very exciting.  I am so please with how the community keeps growing.
Many blessings to you all.
